The in Bloom committee is made up of people from all walks of life in the area. They have seen how the campaigns have improved the local environment. The committee look for improvements in all areas of the town, street furniture, ornamental beds and wildlife areas. The sea fronts has ornamental beds and different play areas then moves into the sand dunes of the Humber Estuary a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
Our aim is to encourage people to take care and pride in their community through gardening, horticultural excellence and environmental initiatives. As a team we work hard to improve and enhance the local area by providing attractive gardens and green spaces. The committee working with the local council also strive to improve the cleanliness and tidiness of our streets/public spaces for the benefit of both residents and visitors.
